What a school thinks about its library is a measure of what it feels about education
- Harold Howe
The Library at La Storta serves all Senior school students. The aim of the Library is to offer a welcoming environment that supports student learning and development.
Each student will encounter the Library in a variety of different ways as the large collection of fiction and non-fiction books is designed to cater to the needs of all departments within the school.
Students are encouraged to visit the library for help with project work, essay work and general advice on research. In addition, students are strongly encouraged to read for pleasure as it has been shown to improve overall levels of literacy and assist in academic attainment.
The Library is continually developing to reflect the diverse, and changing, needs of our students.
