The fourth annual edition of the Schools Index, featuring the top 125 private schools in the world, has been published by leading global education consultancy Carfax Education. St George’s is proud to feature for the fourth consecutive year.
Categorised by region, prospective families can access a list of the top 125 schools for 2023 across the UK, Switzerland, Europe, USA, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia and the rest of the world, reviewed and selected independently and impartially a panel of education consultants.
As well as formal criteria, such as academic results and preparation for university entry, schools are selected for their unique ethos, their reputation both locally and internationally, and how they prepare pupils for life beyond academia.
Top schools listed for 2023 providing exceptional education for students include world-renowned British schools such as Eton College, Wycombe Abbey and Rugby School, and leading international schools Bangkok Patana School (Thailand), St Paul’s School (Brazil), The British School of Brussels (Belgium), The British School of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and The British School of Delhi (India). St George’s is the only school in Rome to feature.
