St George’s British International School is celebrating another year of outstanding academic achievement, with students achieving excellent results across both IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

At IGCSE, 60% of all grades were awarded at grades 9–7, the equivalent of A*- A under the previous grading system. This compares with 23% of GCSE grades awarded at 9–7 to 16-year-olds in England this summer, meaning that the proportion of top grades achieved at St George’s was more than two and a half times the national figure.

The results continue the School’s strong record of achievement at IGCSE and reflect the ambition and commitment of students alongside the expertise and support of their teachers.

In the IB Diploma Programme, students achieved an average score of 36 points, once again significantly above the global average and continuing St George’s long-standing record of strong IB performance.
