Over 100 Nationalities Represented As New School Year Begins

The 2024-25 academic year at St George’s is underway, and for the first time in the school’s rich history, over 100 nationalities are now represented among the school’s student body of just under 1000 pupils.

New nationalities to be welcomed to the student community this year are Georgia, Hong Kong SAR, Malawi, Mongolia, Montenegro and Morocco. In total, approximately 30% of enrolled pupils hold Italian citizenship, with the United Kingdom, USA, China, Ireland, Russia, Netherlands, India, Brazil, France, Germany, Canada and Australia also well represented.

With 104 nationalities currently enrolled, St George’s is the only school in southern Europe, and one of very few schools across the world, to have so many nationalities represented amongst the pupil population.

More importantly however, it is the rich fusion of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives that creates an inspiring experience for the school’s learners. A very warm welcome to families joining the school from all corners of the globe.

Applications are being accepted for September 2025 entry. Limited places are available in a small number of year groups for entry during the 2024-25 school year. Further information can be found on the Current Availability page.
