IB Results Analysis: St George’s Sixth In Europe, top 1% globally

The independent IB analysis and advice site IB-schools.com has published ranking tables for the Summer 2020 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) examination session.

With the Class of 2020 obtaining an average score of 37 points out of a possible 45, St George’s has ranked as the sixth highest performing IB school in Europe. We are delighted to confirm that, with a ranking of 54 globally, the hard work of the Class of 2020 has seen their results place the school in the top 1% of all schools offering the IB Diploma.

Although St George’s is not eligible for the UK rankings, a comparison demonstrates that the school would have been ranked as the sixth highest co-educational school in the UK outperforming some highly selective and world-renowned schools. St George’s would rank as the second co-educational school where all pupils study the IB and the first ranked non-academically-selective co-educational school.

We congratulate the Class of 2020 as they navigate through their first year of university. Meanwhile, the Year 13 pupils - the Class of 2021 - have recently completed their IB mock examinations as they strive to meet their own individual goals and move closer to the completion of their studies.
