2021 IGCSE Results Released

Year 11 have achieved an outstanding set of IGCSE examination results. 

We are delighted to announce the success of our Year 11 cohort of 70 pupils, following the release of the IGCSE summer 2021 examination results. From a total of 638 entries, 67% of all grades awarded were 9-7 or A*-A. A further 97% of all grades awarded were 9-4 or A*-C. The average grade across all subjects that students attained was a 7.

There was significant individual achievement with ten students gaining 11 higher passes (9-7 or A*-A), 12 students obtaining 10 higher passes (9-7 or A*-A) and a further five students achieving 9 higher passes (9-7 or A*-A).

Mr John Talbot, Assistant Head, Head of Upper School (Key Stage 4) said: “I would like to congratulate all of Year 11 on their success. They are a special year group that have faced significant challenges over the two years of their IGCSE course and to achieve these outstanding results is a reflection of their commitment and dedication to their studies. We wish them continued success as they move into Year 12 and begin the IB Diploma Programme.”

He added: “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers who have worked incredibly hard to ensure that pupils continued to receive the best education possible throughout this challenging time, and parents for their unwavering support.”
