Volunteering at St George's

We welcome volunteers at St George's and recognise their contribution as a valuable asset to the school. Our volunteers complement the work of teachers and support staff, and work under the direct guidance and supervision of a staff member/teacher.

Who are our volunteers?

Volunteers at St George's may be parents, alumni, gap students, other members of the school community and friends of the school.

How to volunteer

All volunteers are asked to complete a Volunteer Application Form which informs the school of your area of interest. Once this form is received, the volunteer may be invited to meet with a staff member, to discuss his/her interests and to receive information on available opportunities.

The HR department coordinates the recruitment of volunteers. All successful applicants will sign a Volunteer Agreement. Volunteers will also be given a copy of the SGBIS volunteer policy. HR also provides volunteers with an identity badge which must be worn visibly at all times when in School.
