2013 St Cecilia Concert 'outstanding'

The Santa Cecilia Concert took place on Saturday evening at the Teatro Capranica.

My overall impression of the concert was that it was well received by the audience and that they appreciated the variety and the quality of the performances.  I was particularly delighted that three brave dancers were able to display their skills and also that we were able to feature works created by three people present, namely David Fong, Kevin Nutty and Derek Roberts. I hope that parents and students enjoyed seeing the artwork displayed throughout the evening. I felt that the evening was a great showcase for the Creative Arts at St. George's.

Above everything else, I was impressed by the obvious enjoyment shown by all the performers. The pupils’ enthusiasm was infectious and lifted all of our spirits. Everyone showed grit and determination throughout the long day of rehearsals and a commitment to putting on a good show.  And I hope you all agree that they did put on a very good show!

These are just a few of the comments I have received since Saturday:
