By Road
St. George's is on Via Cassia, the historic road heading North out of Rome. It is 16km from the centre (it was the last place that travellers had to rest their horses before heading into Rome). From Rome, head up the Cassia until La Storta, then turn left up a hill after the Bentley garage.
By Rail
The La Storta stop is one minute from school. Get a train from St. Peter's, Roma Ostiense, Trastevere or Valle Aurelia heading towards Cesano or Viterbo. On arrival at platform 2, go down the steps, UNDER the tracks and up onto platform 1. Leave that platform through the main building. Walk 50m and the turn right. Choose the left fork and walk up to the Cathedral and, behind it, the School. Click here for an underground map.
By Air
Ciampino is about one hour from the school, Fiumicino is 45 minutes. The school can arrange a taxi to pick you up, just ask. You can easily and cheaply get a bus from the airports to Termini Bus and Train station. From there take the underground to Valle Aurelia, then follow the "By Rail" instructions.
By Bus
Many buses run from Rome to La Storta but we would recommend the train unless you know what you are doing!
By Sea
Be serious. Well, actually Civitavecchia connects Rome to Sardinia which the year 8's can look forward to in May Week
