St. George's is an HMC co-educational day school with 840 students aged 3-19, serving the international community of Rome. The school follows the English National Curriculum to (I)GCSE and the International Baccalaureate in the sixth form.

Working at St. George's

We offer one of the best working environments in the world: Friendly co-operative, intelligent and interesting pupils to teach. Good facilities and a dynamic atmosphere. If you are a good teacher who can offer something a bit extra, then this is the school for you.

Live either in Rome City Centre (20 mins) where the school owns some flats or choose beautiful countryside (20-30 minutes) near lake Bracciano.

The school is a centre for Oxford Brookes' MA in Education course. 12 teachers are currently taking the course at the school's expense and two more have recently completed it.

Teachers come primarily from the UK but others have worked abroad before and some choose to stay abroad when they leave.

The School employs a personnel manager and a "General Services Manager" to help with the bureaucracy.
