I have been studying here in St. George’s for the past six months. This school is a simply gigantic one with a multitude of activities and facilities.
Being interested in reading, I was moved by one of the school’s
most appreciated aspects – the Library. This library goes according
to a phrase – “reading is an adventure that never ends”.
This kaleidoscopic library is home to a myriad of interesting books.
The vast amount of knowledge available is mystifying. It is adorned
with numerous informative books.
The day you set foot in this library, you will know you have entered
a long and never-ending adventure. The books available range from children’s
classics to books for A-level students – absolutely stunning.
Dictionaries, atlases, history, warfare…. every genre of adventure
is available.
The Librarian does a very efficient job at keeping the library silent and peaceful…often telling noisy children to “shut-up”.
To further enhance your knowledge, the ERIC (Electronic Retrieval of Information Centre) provides you with access to internet allowing you to explore the world of knowledge.
This library is a literacy luxury for bookworms. You are provided
with a golden opportunity to get your hands on some of the world’s
rarest books. Use it. And enlighten yourself.
