Junior School Activities

St.George's Junior Schools have similar programmes of trips, both day and residential, activities and concerts throughout the year. Clearly we are lucky to have Rome on our doorstep and this unrivalled asset is the focus of most our trips. Our residential trips (see our policy) start in Year 3 with three days spent at a biological farm in Umbria. Year 4 visit Arteaparte, an activity centre near Todi. Years 5 and 6 venture further a field. In recent years Year 5 have been to Venice and Year 6 to Normandy. These trips offer opportunites for the two schools to come together where friendships are developed that continue into the Senior School.

  • Aircraft Museum at Vigna di Valle (Bracciano) to tie in with geography

  • Garibaldi Museum at Mentana in connection with history
  • Castel Sant’Angelo in connection with history
  • Teatro ‘Eliseo’ in Rome: performance of ‘Il Bàule di Mr Anderson’ written by Hans Christian Anderson in connection with their Italian language studies
