Please remember that St. George's is over-subscribed. It is therefore important to apply early to increase your chances.
Entry to St George’s is based on :
In the case of those who live abroad it is not always feasible to have an interview with the Principal and/or Head of the Junior School, therefore the tests and reports become extremely important. The tests can be taken at the child's present school. If they are willing to invigilate on our behalf, we will have the tests sent by courier to the children’s school(s). The tests take approximately 1hour 45minutes in all to complete.
Please note that taking the tests does not mean that children are automatically enrolled at St George’s; if they pass their test, they are placed on waiting lists. The Principal offers places in year groups as and when these become available, and, when year groups are full, offers are not made until March/April after re-registration has been carried out and we know who is leaving.
Below you will find the Age Groups with their corresponding Year Groups. Please note that it is not the policy of the school to allow children to enter a year group above their age.

At any British school, discipline is important. We are not aiming to create obedient pupils, but pupils with self-discipline. To view the school rules, click here.
