MUN Conferences

CUSMUN (Sept 2017)

With over 400 delegates and 21 European schools participating in the first High School MUN Conference hosted by Cambridge University, we are pleased to announce that the 3-day conference was a resounding success.

JCUMUN (Jan 2017)

Over the weekend of 27/28 January, 19 delegates from St. George's attended the annual John Cabot MUN Conference in Rome. After an intense two days of debate we are delighted to congratulate a number of our students who were presented with special MUN awards.

PAMUN (Nov 2016)

With approximately 120 schools and some 600 students our students took the floor and debated exceptionally - well done to Giorgio Miraglia del Giudice who was elected Chair of Ecosoc, Antoine Veillerette (Special Mention, Ecosoc) and Thomas Holderness who won the Best Delegate award (UNHCR) - and well done to all the participants for a spectacular performance, including Guia Cordero Di Montezemolo at the General Assembly.

SGMUN (Oct 2016)

On 26 October 2016, student delegates took part in a MUN Conference in the School Drama Theatre. The topic of the day was the 'Right to privacy in a digital age'. We were very pleased to welcome 10 delegates from St Stephens. A productive day was enjoyed by all. Special congratulations to Tom Holderness who was awarded Best Delegate & Honourable Mentions: Sofia Carollo, Stefano Faubel, Tudor Popescu, Pauls Bertulis. The Resolution was passed.

PAMUN (Feb 2016)

On Saturday 13th February, 570 students from nations as far-flung as China, the UAE, and Mexico poured into the enormous conference hall at the Maison de la Mutualitè in Paris for the opening ceremony of PAMUN XV...read more.
